Description
Georgius van Os painted his flowers in bright colours, with crisp contours and little attention to light and shade, entirely in line with the taste of his time. The uniform grey background also contributes to the still life’s distinctive character. The tulip tile is a traditional Dutch product introduced centuries ago to present the tulip in an optimal way.
