Description

The “Keizersgracht” is the middle one of the three main canals in Amsterdam. Besides, with its 31 meters width, it is the widest canal in the inner city of Amsterdam. The digging of this canal started in 1612, together with the “Herengracht” and the “Prinsengracht”. The canal houses of the “Keizersgracht” inspired Royal Goedewaagen in creating a miniature version of the “Keizersgracht” consisting of six parts. The canal houses can be purchased independently, which makes it suitable as ultimate collector items.
