Description

Soestdijk Palace is a former palace on Amsterdamsestraatweg 1 in Baarn. The originally 17th-century building was named after the Soestdijk along which the hamlet of Soestdijk also originated. From 1937 to 2004 it was the residence of Crown Princess and later Queen Juliana of the Netherlands. Royal Goedewaagen makes miniatures of various palaces in the Netherlands which are hand-painted in traditional Delft blue or polychrome fashion.
